Grateful Dead Meet Up Sunshine Daydream

The Grateful Dead is back for the third annual Meet-Up at the Movies on Thursday, August 1 at 7:30PM (local time). This year's Meet-Up features Sunshine Daydream, the most requested release of the band's entire career. Originally shot on 16mm film restored to HD resolution, Sunshine Daydream captures the band at the height of their powers - fresh off their renowned European Tour - and lending their services to the Kesey family to help keep their Springfield Creamery afloat. With special appearances by key members of the Grateful Dead community and a cavalcade of Merry Pranksters, it's more than a concert, it's a time capsule from 1972 exploding with the colorful sights of the counterculture experience.

Update

Saw The Spirit of the Marathon II last night and it was incredible to see how individuals train and enjoy the running of their marathon.

Tonight Paul McCartney concert has incredible ratings and how can anyone go wrong watching SIR PAUL and WINGS!!!!

Get ready for Man of Steel as it hits the theaters on Friday. Don't forget to try the IMAX 3D experience in Surprise.

The Opera is coming to Surprise and last night there were incredible trailers of what's to come. The costumes, sets and voices "LIVE FROM the MET"...they are a must see. Check the blog calendar for dates and times.

Rock Show Concert is a film by WINGS. It was filmed during their 1976 North American Tour and features 30 songs from four of the concert cities. Paul McCartney remained reluctant to make the entire film available to the general public until now.

Ironman - Don't care how old you are you will love the comedy
and action.
Mud - Great film, a little slow in some parts but the young
actors are fantastic!
Now You See Me - How can you not love magic! Everyone in the theatre
left with smiles on their faces!!!!!! A must see
or the pure fun and enjoyment.
Star Trek - You don't have to be a Treky to enjoy this film. Again
lots of action and the special effects were
utstanding.
Divorce Invitation - If you arn't checking the "Alternative Content" at Digiplex
you should be. This was a great film. Good cast,
script and story line.
Fast and Furious 6 - Enough to say we are on number 6 so I think you can figure
out the plot but the car scenes are incredible.
